The AMT P2 is a compact, two-channel guitar preamp and high-gain distortion pedal from the Legend Amp Series II (LA2) line by AMT Electronics. 

Key Features & Sound
  • Amp Emulation: Modeled after the high-gain tone, saturation, and harmonic response of the Peavey 5150 / 6505 amplifier series. 
  • Two Channels:
    • Overdrive/Lead Channel: High-gain, tight, and aggressive modern metal/rock tone.
    • Clean Channel: A universal clean channel styled after classic Fender amps, equipped with a clean boost control (up to +8 dB). 
  • Three Independent Outputs: Can be used simultaneously:
    • Drive Out: For connecting to the front input of a traditional guitar amplifier (stompbox/effect mode).
    • Preamp Out: For connecting straight into the power amp / effects loop return of an amplifier.
    • Cab Sim Out: Features a built-in cabinet simulator for direct connection to an audio interface, mixer, or PA system. 
  • Bypass Mode: Uses a partial active bypass that preserves your instrument's natural tone and reduces cable-length signal loss when switched off
