Marshall JCM 800 Lead Series Model 1987 Amplifier Head (1989)

The Marshall JCM800 Model 1987 is a 50-watt, non-master volume guitar amplifier head featuring four traditional inputs and classic all-tube circuitry.

Type: All-tube amplifier head 

Output Power: 50 Watts RMS 

Preamp Tubes: 3 x ECC83 (12AX7) 

Power Tubes: 2 x EL34 (some export models featured 6550 tubes) 

Channels: 2 channels (Normal and High Treble) 

Inputs: 4 total 1/4" inputs (High and Low sensitivity for each channel) allowing for channel bridging/patching 

Controls: Presence, Bass, Middle, Treble, Volume I (High Treble), and Volume II (Normal) 

Master Volume: None (non-master volume design; tone is driven by cranking the channel volumes)
